I have had the pleasure of knowing Tina for many years yet did not realise what a wonderful and talented artist she was until I visited her solo exhibition at the Creek Creative in Faversham in January 2024. I bought three small paintings which I absolutely treasure. Her style is versatile and always vibrant, and the paintings give me immense pleasure every time I look at them which is pretty often.
For me, Tina Rae’s paintings are an expression of a deep love of nature and natural surroundings. She uses a vibrant palette of colour that just makes every subject painted engage one immediately.
Tina Rae is an artist of so many different mediums, subjects, and styles – all of which she executes with great sensitivity and skill. Her recent exhibition at Creek Creative was a treasure trove of delight – and of wonderful observation.
I am the proud owner of several pieces of Tina Rae’s artwork. I love the vibrancy of colour, range of media and the different atmospheres she creates. It was a pleasure to be at her very significant art exhibition at Creek Creative at the start of 2024 which illustrated the depth and breadth of her talent as an exciting artist.
I am very familiar with Tina’s wide ranging interests and depth of understanding in her training and publishing in the field of child-centred education – so I was curious to see if (and how) this would translate to her painting. I think it is in the range of topics and the focus on essential detail that links can be discovered. I love Tina’s use of colour and how this shifts in shading to reflect the environment and subject. I really enjoyed her recent exhibition and I look forward to the next and the opportunity to add to my collection.
